Same as I. The overflow drain in the sock seem to do all or most of the frothing inside the sock, which leaves little for the skimmer to pick out, I guess.

I wash mine with baking soda on the hot cycle, then I just put it under the tap and use. They work great as long as you take them out on a reg. basis.
