Last time I used suse personal was 9.1.
It wouldn't install mozilla, firefox or thunderbird until I spent HOURS installing libraries and such. Yast? it's great. At the time I was using 9.1 personal though, it would not install anything. I'll admit to only installing 9.1 personal once and that's it. I got really upset, popped in knoppix and it worked without any effort... haven't looked back
