I actually went to LD to look at the Canon A75 they had on sale but the manager showed me the Nikon on clearance & the rest is history. Unfortunately Clownchick, the clearance sale was in January but the newer models are way better anyways. Also check which storage device the cameras you look at take. Mine uses the older cards which are larger, but cheaper, as opposed to the newer, more expensive sticks. Besides, I figure I'll lose the sticks all the time.
