Cameras...
I am currently looking for a decent camera that would be able to take great pics of my aquarium inhabitants.. including small worms, feather dusters ect.. with good detail.
Any recomendations of a brand / type or certain camera? If so, does anyone have examples of pics taken .... :) Any info is helpful! |
A dollar figure would be very helpful. You can get awesome 3.2mp digis for less than 300 nowadays. I love my Olympus, this bad boy is on sale for like 229 at Superstore right now and even comes with a free printer ...lol
Here is a sample of a low res pic from my camera, plus I can't take pictures to save my life http://ist234.sasktelwebsite.net/yellows.jpg |

I have a PowerShot A-85. I still need to learn how to take good pictures.
This is my best one so far. http://www.canreef.com/photopost/dat...ish002-med.jpg Matt |
Pentax Optio 33L here, good camera easy to use, lots of gadgets but not the best macro setting but well worth $200 (PS don't forget to buy a memory card).

Got my Nikon Coolpix 3300 demo-model for $249 @ London Drugs in Jan. Still learning to use it to its full potential. Here's some sample pics:

I have a Canon A80...nice I like it , but I think the Nicon Coolpix is better for macro,.....esp. if you can get it on sale
|
I actually went to LD to look at the Canon A75 they had on sale but the manager showed me the Nikon on clearance & the rest is history. Unfortunately Clownchick, the clearance sale was in January but the newer models are way better anyways. Also check which storage device the cameras you look at take. Mine uses the older cards which are larger, but cheaper, as opposed to the newer, more expensive sticks. Besides, I figure I'll lose the sticks all the time.
Anthony Good luck on your quest. Google the reviews as well. |
SamW shoots a Canon, if you search the Pictures posts by his username, you'll see about the best you can expect from that line - I think his is comparable to the A75?
