I'm just a casual computer user and a bit of a closet Luddite so megabytes and gigahertz were actually of little consequence for me. I just wanted a computer that could edit AVCHD video and had a good photo editor out of the box. The Mac did that and seamlessly integrated my iPod Touch as well. Which one did you get? I would love to get the 27 inch iMac but probably end up with the 21 incher. I will also dual boot it with Windows 7 for the best of both worlds
