![]() Our house is very "air-tight" and like most fellow-reefers we have humidity problems in the winter such as heavy condensation on the windows. I searched for suggestions in this site and reefcentral and came across the mention of a product (I think it was developed in Canada) called Humidex. We decided to give it a try and installed one a couple of months ago in the basement.
Am I pleased ... no more condensation on the windows ... no black molds around the window frames. With one of the windows slightly opens on the top floor and the Humidex drawing the moist air out in the basement, the air circulation also helps the tank to maintain a 8.2pH. It used to be 7.8. Best of all, no more complains from my family about humidity problem caused by my tank .. |
