Suse is what we use on our servers atm as well, altho we are leaning towards gentoo now.
Suse personal sux, you are missing tons of libraries and such, if you ever wish to install anything not included in the personal edition, expect to spend days getting all the libraries installed. knoppix is my fave for desktops. http://www.knoppix.org/ cool bootable cd, support for all my hardware...
