It was a GRINDER that I used . I think that deserves more of a daredevil title. Overall, cutting that glass brace out after the 4 holes were drilled took only about 10 minutes. It was fast.
Thanks to this thread, I had the guts to take the grinder to my sump to mod it a bit. You're right, it did go really fast and I couldn't believe how easy it was. Thanks again for the idea.
