I think this is a misunderstanding.
These are 2 different things: output power of the pump (in Watts) and output voltage of the ProfiLux (in Volts). Maximum output voltage of ProfiLux is 10V -> at this voltage the pump will have the maximum power (18W in your case). As far as i know the Tunze pumps even have the maximum power at 8V control voltage.
