Three things I used to quiet my return pump was
1) a thick rubber underlay under the pump. 2) ran flexible hose out both sides of the pump connecting to the rigid pvc. 3) I also made sure any pvc going though the stand was not touching any part of it as it would transfer a vibration. - extra- Rubber underlay under tanks and stand Good luck Kevin
