What ever you decide on the photo period for your tank simply start it couple to few hours later same goes for sunset time.

since i work two jobs...my photo period is from 10 pm to 10 am

Just to give you an example,I like to watch my tanks in the evening..late evening..that said my light period starts at 4 PM till 2 AM.
