Default The catch tank

So I new there was gonna be a catch to me setting up my new tank....

The wife said I have to build her a 24x24x18" tank....

When its all said and done it will have a coast to coast, 3 sides eurobraced, mp10, swc 120cone, LEDs of some sort.

And an anemone and a clown..........

Also this one I'm building now is temporary until I get around to ordering glass... She wants 3 sides star fire, one piece cnc eurobraced and black silicone

Is your wife for sale ?

Actually though, you have a keeper there! If this turns out anything like the other tank I think I might just be impressed!

Eurobracing done trim mostly done, this week I'm going to install the glass for the coast to coast and drill it. Probably start a stand sometime this week as well

And yes she is quite the catch haha, everyone always asks how I got a girl like her... And the answer is simple.... I tricked her

Doesn't look like much yet, still got to trim the top trim down, build doors, stain everything and add a tiny bit of reinforcement.

I don't see a wife that supports my hobby a good thing. Maybe I am different. But I already spend way too much money on this hobby, and god only knows how much more I would be in debt if my wife supported me on every purchase.

Good job on the build though!

You would have spent much less if your wife accepted your hobby. Truth be told, forbidden fruits always tastes better and this hobby wouldn't have been the forbidden fruit if it was accepted by her

Tagging along

Everything for this tank is either built from stuff I have laying around and all the equipment will be stuff I have laying around.

Frags will be from my tanks and livestock from oceanic corals

So cost is pretty low
