![]() Hello everyone,
just wondering if anyone has found the Dead Sea Works magnesium chloride hexahydrate that is mention by Randy Holmes in his 2 part dosing recipe in Calgary Area, or maybe a substitute for this part? Has anyone try doing this? if so, maybe a post of your tank size and how much of each part you use to help some of us getting started on this. Thanks everyone.

![]() Easiest is just to buy from Bulk Reef Supply. They ship to Canada every Friday via UPS and there is no brokerage fees.

![]() I would go with Chemmaster before BRS. He is in Canada so it will arrive sooner and he is cheaper. I am currently waiting for a BRS order to arrive and with the way UPS is performing I could be waiting a while.

![]() so Univar sells to the public? do i just call them and order or they have a retail location?
i just found the dowflake at home hardware, they just ordered a bag for me for 24 bucks, i just need to go and see if that is in fact the one being mention by Randy. Once I get everything, it will be time to try, there will be a lot of questions then!!!!

![]() Suppose I didn't want to make so much at once of Randy H-F's stuff, could i take his recipe and change it by using half of everything listed? that should give me the same properties right?
