algae scrubber
Is there a prefered algae for an algae scrubber ,or is the multi colored natural growth of weirdness all I need

Thick dark red/brown/green turf types are what normally grows from what I've seen.. i dont have one personally but have looked into them a few times.

As long as it isn't black I think it's alright. I've ready a few places that black is rotting green algae. Usually only happens when you don't clean it enough.

haven't seen any black,but pretty much every other colour.I was wondering if mounting a macro algae to the screen would work.
