			 Hi All,

Just found this snail crawling up the side today. It's about no more than 1 cm in length and it is the first time I've noticed it and perhaps someone can tell me if this is good or bad. Here are the pics I took with my iPhone ( was in a rush). Have it trapped in a clear container for now... Pics from the side, top and bottom... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks |

Maybe a whelk or nassarius? It may be easier for you to figure it out than just pics since you've seen it's behaviour in person? |

Whelk. I ditched one last week and I suggest you do the same. They can wreak havoc.

Before you ditch it, google "collumbellid snails"

Thanks. I didn't think it was either as I have not had nassarius snails for over 14 mths since I switched to sand less.
