Have you used any water conditioner lately? As for the small bubble exiting the skimmer, You might need to turn down the flow of your PH. I restricted the flow of my MJ1200 and added a needle valve to the air intake and I can pretty much adjust it all now with zero bubbles going back into the tank.

I have a sea-clone,and it was a pain in the neck to get going, but once you fine-tune it,its not too bad.I did a slight mode to mine(cut the most inner tube down to 3in)and opened the air full open.Mine took quite a long time to finally produce nice dark skim with lots of thick foam.Do a search for seaclone modifications, and you should find a few. Also try drilling a small hole on the side of the collection cup for a hose to drain the collection cup into a bottle(no worries of overflowing ) Jim |

![]() I'll have to look at mine when i go home, but if you take the collection cup off there should be a large tube inside the main body(aprx 3 inch)and inside that is the narrow tube(1-1.5in),that should come out without forcing it.I'll check when i get home tonight and let you know.
