![]() Just wondering if having an abundance of these things is a problem ever? Particularly all over my sump glass and refugium?

![]() I have them here and there in my DT and expect that they will grow well in my new sump. They feed on fine particles and bacteria in the water column and are generally a sign of good water quality. EDIT: Scypha spp.

![]() sponges = good i have tons of these guys in my suymp and they just take fine particles out of the water and absorb nutrients

![]() Ok sweet, no worries then! Thanks guys. I dont have as many in my DT but perhaps one of my fish or inverts likes to eat them or something up there.

![]() nice to hear they are good...I can't grow cheato worth a damn but have hundreds of these and hundred of little tube worms in my sump....not much else growing
