![]() I can't find the OP, but there was a photo posted quite a while back of a clam, gold rimmed on the edge of the mantle with a turquoise or green inner. I seem to remember the photo being taken by somebody's father while diving?
There were some other amazing photos in the thread too, but... I'm looking to get a pic of that clam so I can attempt to find one like it.

![]() Well, algae or whatever. Coraline or maybe some kind of boring (ie., drilling, not as in "uninteresting") algae. Ordinarily clam shell is white on its own, but it doesn't take long for stuff to grow on it..
