Chip Inside of the Tanks

Hello,

I have been offered a tank for free

! but it has a chip on the inside corner

. It's the size of a dime roughly. Should I clean it and apply aquarium sealant? or would this be considered a weak area which may crack?

did it have water in the tank already?
If it hasn't how long has the tank been out of water?
If it has been filled with water. then i wouldnt worry about it.

It's a 33 gallon, it hasn't been used for about 6 months.
