Default RO/DI solenoid, where to buy?

Anyone know where to buy just a solenoid for an RO/DI system? J&L sells the kits with the float valve, but I just want the solenoid.

I plan on doing top off using a solenoid and an electronic timer, following this design:

I'm going to scale it by using a whole house filter, rather than a single RO prefilter chamber. I'm probably going to put a little pump inside too, since I suspect the RO won't be able to keep THAT much kalk mixed.

But good auto top off units are quite pricey, so I'm planning to run the system on a solenoid with an electronic timer. Time it so that it JUST under-tops the tank. Where it stands, my 120g system only goes through about 3-4 gallons of evaporated water daily, so I think running the unit for like 1.5 hours a day would work well.

Any suggestions where I could buy the solenoid solo? Preferably in Calgary if possible.

What about using an irrigation valve on the RO input side? (I think they're about $20 at Home Depot). I think they use 24VDC so if you could find a power supply (Princess Auto would have them), all you'd need is the timer and you're set.
