![]() sounds like hairy algae. maybe. i dunno, anyone else have an opinion? try not to let it get out of control, it can be a pain in the butt, but a couple of trochu snails will inhale it, or some astrea snails. dunno if ceriths eat it or not. i mainly saw my trochus eat it.
enough rambling from me.

![]() I have snails they don't bother with it. It sits just on top of the sand and when you try to move it ( using a baster)everything around it move and it stays together. there is some between glass and sandbed the tank has been running for 9 mths +

![]() Haven't got a clue what it is, but if it's in a clump, just remove the clump (sand and all) in such a manner that the powerheads don't scatter it all over your tank.
