I finally got a TDS meter to check the water coming out of my RO/DI.
The meter came pre-calibrated, so I haven't recalibrated it yet....and I got readings of 17 on my tap water, and zero on my RO/DI water. Is this absurd? Or do we have really clean water here is Coquitlam? Or is the TDS meter clearly not calibrated? |

Guys on ReefCentral can't believe how good our water quality is here, some folks in the states measure 200-400ppm.

Isn't PO4 included in TDS readings?

does that mean you don't have to buy a RO/DI filter if the water is so clean?

I wouldn't go that far, yes your TDS is low, but as stated above your PO4 is high and you don't want to be putting that in if you can avoid it.
