At 0' head pressure (4600GPH) most likely not. At 16' head pressure (2400GPH), then most likely yes.

They can be throttled back easily.

If it's a full siphon it will pull a lot more too.

After head-loss I'm sure I'm getting more than 3000 gph into the display (I do have it throttled back however I ran it full bore while I was curing/flushing crap off my rock) Last edited by lastlight; 11-30-2011 at 12:47 AM. |

I have the Barricuda with about 7' of vertical head going through 1.5" Schd 80 and it flows 54 GPM. I do use the Barricuda to feed my two Jumbo reactors which results in slightyl less then 7' of head pressure.
