OUCH?! Did I get zapped???
Actually, it felt like I got zapped. I had a small cut on my finger that I hadn't noticed. It's amazing how much pain salt water can cause on an open wound. It has happened to me twice now!
Vynil gloves, here I come! Btw, guys, if ever you go to a tropical destination, don't shave just before you go for a swim in the ocean!!! |

Cool! Does that mean it won't hurt as much the next day?

its probably stray voltage in the water not the salt causing the zap feeling, you can just feel it through your cut where your skin would normally block it, get a grounding probe and check your powerheads and heater

your skin blocks something like 32 or 35volts
so chances are its just a little bit of stray voltage in the tank which you could now feel since the skin was penetrated. grounding probe will solve the problem
