I know its a chalice but im not to sure what kind.
Does anybody know what type of chalice this is

I'll check my books in a bit but I think it's oxypora sp.

Errr.... are you looking for the common name or the scientific name? Like I said, it's like 99% likely to be an Oxypora sp.. Can't really give you more detail than that without seeing the skeleton... but I'm guessing you don't want to show me that

All the pictures i have seen of oxypora sp. dont look likemine so im not sure if that's what it is. Was kinda looking for the common name, was told it was a rainbow chalice that wasnt doing well and bought it as a 5 dollar dying frag and it has now tripped in size and im amazed by the colors.

And yes it is mine

I'm having a hard time deciding if it is Oxypora or Echinophyllia...it is rather "meaty" to be an Oxy, but the shape is more Oxy. Hmmm...I'm leaning towards Echinophyllia.
