I'll check my books in a bit but I think it's oxypora sp.

Errr.... are you looking for the common name or the scientific name? Like I said, it's like 99% likely to be an Oxypora sp.. Can't really give you more detail than that without seeing the skeleton... but I'm guessing you don't want to show me that:razz:

Do you own it?

All the pictures i have seen of oxypora sp. dont look likemine so im not sure if that's what it is. Was kinda looking for the common name, was told it was a rainbow chalice that wasnt doing well and bought it as a 5 dollar dying frag and it has now tripped in size and im amazed by the colors.

And yes it is mine:mrgreen:

I'm having a hard time deciding if it is Oxypora or Echinophyllia...it is rather "meaty" to be an Oxy, but the shape is more Oxy. Hmmm...I'm leaning towards Echinophyllia.

Looks like a Masterpiece Chalice to me. I have one too, love it.
