welcome/introductions forum?
Hey guys,
so I've been thinking for awhile that maybe we need a welcome/introductions forum? somewhere new members can introduce themselves and get to know their fellow canreefers before wading into the deep end  However, this being said, I've also wondered how many people would actually surf that forum and interact with new members. I see that someone has posted an introduction thread in one of the club forums and it has gotten quite a bit of response which is great! But I just don't want new members posting in a forum that has an echo in it  Thoughts?

I think if people are posting in such a forum and it is showing up in the recent posts list us non-newbies will likely poke in there once and a while. At least, I know I would. Maybe making it a sticky somewhere would help as well so it doesn't get lost.
