welcome/introductions forum?
 

Hey guys,

so I've been thinking for awhile that maybe we need a welcome/introductions forum? somewhere new members can introduce themselves and get to know their fellow canreefers before wading into the deep end :wink:

However, this being said, I've also wondered how many people would actually surf that forum and interact with new members. I see that someone has posted an introduction thread in one of the club forums and it has gotten quite a bit of response which is great! But I just don't want new members posting in a forum that has an echo in it :razz:

Thoughts?

I think if people are posting in such a forum and it is showing up in the recent posts list us non-newbies will likely poke in there once and a while. At least, I know I would. Maybe making it a sticky somewhere would help as well so it doesn't get lost.
