![]() I have a red Montipora Digitata that was shipped very badly and came in very rough shape. A lot of the tissue appears to be melting away leaving behind bare calcium skeleton. Some of the branches, especially around the tips look fine and even has some great color and small polyp extension. I have only had it in the tank for a day but what I am wondering is if the melting away is going to spread over the whole coral, or will the coral survive and regenerate tissue. Obviously pending that the water parameters are fine and everything else is in check.
