By creating distinct areas of fast and slow-moving water, a true counter-current condition is created within the reaction chamber. Special wide base design reduces discharge velocity to produce a "stilling" action that prevents air bubbles from entering the aquarium. The X-FLO Venturi Protein Skimmer measures 9" x 9" x 23" high.
