possibly looking for a new protein skimmer

Mine doesn't seem to be pulling much...if any, skim. I got it with the tank and it may be on its last leg.

Looking for a protein skimmer
Tank is 75g with 20g sump

not looking to spend an arm or a leg either!

Look for a used Euro Reef RS100. That would be an awesome choice for you provided you have enough room in your sump for it...?

Not to interfere, but why is it failing? Is the pump output reduced? Is the injector dirty? If it worked well once, it can probably be rehabbed.

I think I may have found the problem. I thought there was no water level adjustment on the exhaust pipe...guess it was just really stuck! finally got it raised...now it's looking a better, i'm going to let it run like this and see what i get.
