Where to get a Mantis Shrimp?
Does anyone know where you can get a mantis shrimp? I'd like to get one for a species tank but have no idea where you can order or pick one up? Anyone have suggestions? Or anyone want to sell theirs??

Ask your LFS.. you'd be surprised how often they turn up on order lists.. It's hard to find really colourful ones, but you can easily get a nice 4" bright green one.
Just ask your local fish store and I'm sure they'd order one for you..

J&L said that they order one every time they place an order. But they never get them, so I believe you would be better off going with Steves advice
  .I've had a 20g up and running for like 3 months, waiting for one myself :shock: :!: :!: :!:

I get them all the time.... if you want one let me know. Usually the peacock mantis but sometimes I get the all yellow or pink or blue spearers. There all pretty!!!!
