Where to get a Mantis Shrimp?
 

Does anyone know where you can get a mantis shrimp? I'd like to get one for a species tank but have no idea where you can order or pick one up? Anyone have suggestions? Or anyone want to sell theirs?? :)

buy a box of transshiped marshal island rock, seams to be a guarenteed thing laitly hehe

Ask your LFS.. you'd be surprised how often they turn up on order lists.. It's hard to find really colourful ones, but you can easily get a nice 4" bright green one.

Just ask your local fish store and I'm sure they'd order one for you..

J&L said that they order one every time they place an order. But they never get them, so I believe you would be better off going with Steves advice :roll: :wink: .

My name is next on the mantis waiting list from J&L. I've been waiting since about June :(

I get them all the time.... if you want one let me know. Usually the peacock mantis but sometimes I get the all yellow or pink or blue spearers. There all pretty!!!!
