Default Silicone

I've read conflicting opinions about what silicone is OK to use for doing my baffles. I bought the GE Silicone II window and door and am wondering who has experience with this one... it doesn't say anything on the packaging about anti-mildew or UV protectant, or fungiside, etc. It does say "not for surfaces that will exceed 400 deg. farenheit, conditions where FDA complience is necessary, aquariums." I would like to know what you all think? I've read some posts etc. that say it will be fine, and others that say it's not good to use. Help!
Oh, and if I use this type i am going to let it clear for many days before even putting water or anything in it.
Thanks!

Oh and I ask because this is the GE Silicone II window and door at Home Depot in Canada
http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/s...k=P_PartNumber

And in the U.S. This is the GE Silicone II window and door at Home Depot
http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS...gmm.0&MID=9876

Only works if you are searching apparently but it does say this which I copy and pasted

GE SILICONE II (IN THE U.S.) It says as follows

How does GE Silicone II Window and Door with BioSeal save you money and hassle of repairing water damage? By combining silicone's low shrinkage, maximum UV resistance and perma-flex properties with better adhesion, lower odor, and greater surface compatibility. Silicone II Window and Door is the gold standard in the sealant category.

• Weatherproof/watertight
• Will not shrink or crack
• Permanently flexible
• BioSeal-mold and mildew product protectant • Applies in all weather conditions
• Adheres to a broad range of surfaces

The canadian home depot specs on GE Silicone II has nothing about the Bioseal-mold and mildew product protectant....???
