![]() I had one too, but it is now reborn as a Kalk reactor. Much better application for it. I understand now that they are not a very good filter and generally end up just becoming nitrate factories. Live rock is a much better way to get biological filtration.

![]() true but a fillling a 85g with lr is to expensive for me,i can handle the high nitrates with water changes,the sand filter seemed to be the best around for a fish only tank with the cost even new being quite low.
