After using pvc cement for plumbing, how long must you wait before turning the flow back on to the tank?

1/2 hour max, but I would run other water through it first because there is a lot of fumes in the tube that you don't want in the tank. JMO

I wait 2 hours. I haven't had a problem at that length of time.
I would be hesident about a few minuits myself as not all the carring agent has gassed off at this amounbt of time. Steve

thanx guys, your replies are very helpful. I was affraid it could be dangerous for a longer time but If you guy's are comfortable with a couple of hours thats good enough for me.
