PVC Cement ?

After using pvc cement for plumbing, how long must you wait before turning the flow back on to the tank?

1/2 hour max, but I would run other water through it first because there is a lot of fumes in the tube that you don't want in the tank. JMO

I usualy wait for the full cure time on the bottle. Or at least until the fumes have died down. Not sure why, I just have always done it that way.

I wait 2 hours. I haven't had a problem at that length of time.

I would be hesident about a few minuits myself as not all the carring agent has gassed off at this amounbt of time.
