Default Newbie Facts I Have Learned So Far

In researching reef aquaria to plan out my upcoming reef tank, here are some very important facts I have learned so far.

You will not get more frags per colony by fragging with a blender.
Unlike the business world, skimming off the top is a desirable thing.
A "Softie Tank" is not a collection of impotent coral.
50 gallons or more are recommended for a yellow tang. 25 gallons is not recommended for 1/2 a yellow tang.
Candy Cane coral does not taste like the Christmas treat.
Polyps in a tank do not require chemo theorpy.
It is hard to spray windex into a full tank to clean the inside of the glass.
When heating your tank to 80 degrees, make sure you are reading the Fahrenheit side of the thermometer.
espite what the commercial says, Tums is not a good source of calcium.
TicketMaster is not a good source for purchasing Live Rock
