Default pair

i was wondering what the best pair of fish(like male and female) that would go into a 29 gallon(with a 20 gallon sump)

if possible try not to say clown fish, unless its a neatly shaped one(A.K.A. not shaped like occelaris or percula)

right now the only thing i can think of is a pair of bangaii cardinals or a pair of perculas

Then how about some of the more exotic coloured clowns like black or a pair of gold striped maroon clowns?

I thank that any pair of clowns can be agressive when their territory/eggs are being threatened. I think that a tomato is the worst tho.

Yes it would be. I am not sure how large they get without looking it up, it was just an idea.

How established is the tank? If it has been running for a while then how about a pair of mandarin dragonets??
