pair

i was wondering what the best pair of fish(like male and female) that would go into a 29 gallon(with a 20 gallon sump)

if possible try not to say clown fish, unless its a neatly shaped one(A.K.A. not shaped like occelaris or percula)

right now the only thing i can think of is a pair of bangaii cardinals or a pair of perculas

if you have lots of money flame wrasse, helfriech's firefish, yashia ray goby's with a pistol, various other gobies all i can think of right now.

dont got too much money. im only 13 so money isnt exactly multiplying fast

Then how about some of the more exotic coloured clowns like black or a pair of gold striped maroon clowns?

karazy 07-29-2008 04:21 AM

can you put maroons in a 29 galon?

also i heard they can be a dink to your other fish

PoonTang 07-29-2008 04:25 AM

I thank that any pair of clowns can be agressive when their territory/eggs are being threatened. I think that a tomato is the worst tho.

karazy 07-29-2008 04:26 AM

haha, true. but ive heard that maroon clowns can get to 6 inches, isnt this too big for a 29 gallon?

PoonTang 07-29-2008 04:37 AM

Yes it would be. I am not sure how large they get without looking it up, it was just an idea.

karazy 07-29-2008 04:38 AM

haha, ok. well thnx for your reply:biggrin:

How established is the tank? If it has been running for a while then how about a pair of mandarin dragonets??
