2. Glue then spray if you can, I do not know of the other way around. |

2) Paint then use primer before gluing and you should be fine. The primer should remove the paint from the gluing surface. |

![]() You could just mask the pipe ends before painting if you have it all cut to length first.

![]() I've painted and then glued myself, the primer just melts the paint away.

![]() Thanks all for your replies. I do plan on supporting the piping, just for my own personal ease of mind.
As well, I DID discover that the primer dislolves the paint. Sweet. As well, I also masked off the few pipes I hadn't already painted. Thanks again ![]() |

![]() Support depends on the pipe layout. If its a straight down drain, then should be no problem. But a bulkhead in tank bottom, then having the pipe go horizontal for a while, that will stress the glass for sure.
