The specific gravity WILL increase over time (very slowly over a very long period of time) when using the Balled Method. This is not really noticeable and is of little consequence because the change happens so slowly that regular water changes "rests" the tank to the proper salinity. This is a VERY SLOW increase and is never an issue. The advantage of the Balling Method is in part due to the fact that the solution is always balanced ionically which is not true of the "Balling Light 2 part". There is no need for a fourth dosing pump, as this change is so slow, it would even be very difficult to regulate with a dosing pump.
