if you do want to go that route why not have a super high sump on the incase water was to syphon or whatever:P
seems like alot of people go for small sumps of 20" or slightly higher/lower on my 90g i use a 75g tank for a sump even if half my tank was to find its way to the sump i would still be covered:P
