Burn yellow cedar? Bite your tongue, red yes! Kindling, but yellow IMO is very nice, only problem is you can only do a natural oil finish as the resins in yellow cedar prevent any film finish from bonding, also very aromatic, love the smell of the shop when milling yellow cedar.
