The red balls you saw were eggs. I've had a frogspawn do this. You'd need to have noticed smokey white sperm as well to have any chance of having them survive. For what it is worth I don't think...

Well thanks to Jim Perry I have another idea for the sinusodial wave making. I'm waiting on a three way valve and actuater from Hayward. If it isn't ridiculously priced I'm going to go for it.
