That looks good. Lots of low-light and hardy soft corals and LPS.

If you go low-tech planted FW tank, I think you'll be happy. Plants suck up a lot of the extra nutrients and act as a natural filtration system.

Put a thin layer of gravel/substrate, add some...

I'd say forget the pre-built nanos. A lot of them need to be modified anyway, which is a waste of money, IMO.

You could buy a 20-25 gallon tank for pretty cheap, drill it, and add a sump/'fuge...

That looks great. I have a suspicion that seeing it in person is a totally different experience, though. 225g is a lot to take in. That's even bigger than Quinster's largest display......

This game rocks. I love it. I decided not to bother with the strategy guide since that often takes the fun out of it for me. There are enough free online walkthroughs to help when I get stumped.

That looks well-built and very tidy. I like that the controllers are visible. The magnet idea is awesome, too. Good job.

I can't help but think that it looks a bit like a server, or maybe a...

I dose with aragaMILK from time to time. It's cheap, and in a nano, it'll last forever. I also spot-feed my corals Reef-roids every once in awhile, too.

I'm in the same boat. UPS dinged me some $50 a few years back for a mislabeled parcel. I sorted it out at their request, got the extra duty refunded by the government, then UPS turned around and told...

I've got some ABS bulkheads from Pentair Aquatics. I need more gaskets for these bulkheads.

Does anyone know where to get gaskets that will fit these? I need a couple for the 3/4" and a couple for...

I'm a fan of the Coralife CFLs. The 10W bulbs aren't of much use, but I've run two 20W over a 6 gallon, four 20W over a 13 gallon, and two 20W plus two 15W daylight and a 15W actinic over a 16...

The 10W and 20W Coralife 50/50 CFLs are still around. They work pretty good in nanos. Two 20W bulbs over a 5 gallon tank would work well. I have two over my 6 gallon nano, which is now my frag tank....

Ha ha, good stuff.

I saw a siphon with a filter build in, and it cleans water as it passes through. You can siphon dirty water from your display and have clean water pour into your sump with it....

That's an awesome set-up in the link. The only thing I would do differently is put the 'fuge in a separate tank over the display. Add a small water supply line to it, and have it drain back into the...

Looks good. Here's my input:

Make the first, second, and fourth baffles lower (from the left; the baffles coming up from the bottom). Sumps usually run only at about half full. The sump would have...

Tempered glass should be fine for an aquarium, as long as you don't try to cut it or put holes in it for plumbing. Although tempered glass is stronger than plate glass, once it's tempered, you're...
