API Melefix works to, but doesn't work on the eggs. But it is easy to find the egg rings, and remove with a scalpel. Then you are right the wrasses are your long term solution.

Aquabees for me. Got 2 on my skimmer, and they rock. Never any restart issues. I've had mine for over 3 years now, and bought a backup skimmer(thanks ReeferRob), but i don't think i'll need the pumps...
