I pulled the RO canister fittings off and found that the fitting going to the waste line did not have this small check valve on it but the fitting for the produced water did have a check valve built...

They had those standard size cartridges there on the shelf also. This thing was a monster; that is what made it attractive. The bigger it is the less often you have to change it.

It is a 10 micron filter intended for water filtration, not air. It is a big honking filter. I never thought of the phosphate issue.

Does anyone know of any good sources for clams in Canada? Alberta would be ideal but if I have to have them shipped I can live with that. Can anyone order anything in for me?
