What kind is yours coldwater easier than tropical?

i don't know much about coldwater octos except giant pacific occtos... which you do NOT want unless you got a 1000gal tank!

tropical ones though have a muy wee short lifespan in home aquaria: one year if you're lucky.

I havn/t owned one but a friend did.The hardest thing is keeping them from escaping. They can sqeeze through anything bigger then there beek. The longest they live is two years.

At hidden reef in abbotsford they have a dwarf octo in a little cube by the till, neat looking thing... i wouldnt really consider them myself just because of the lifespan and they are nocturnal.
