You can disagree all you like, without making it personal. You don't know me so you're not in a position to make the kind of personally directed comment that you did. I can't add anything further that doesn't further dilute the purpose of the original poster so I am stepping off this thread. I'm not sure what the OP meant by 2x3/4" or what (is that how wide it is??)... but if anyone is interested in a VERY DIY 12 foot tank, THIS guy is doing an amazing job with his.

BTW... shouldn't this be in the Calgary section?

That means that they laminated two 3/4 inch pieces together for the bottom piece.
